Mārō Mā Matui is a celebratory walk linking the key places where Matt is respected and loved, bringing together the communities of which he remains an influential part.

We start on Thursday 21 September with an early breakfast at South Coast Gym, crossing Sussex to break the journey overnight at East Grinstead RFC. After another early start Friday we hit the road to Croydon, en route to Westminster. Saturday brings a gentle riverside stroll to the finish line at London Irish RFC Sunbury, where the Foundation will host a lunch and fundraising event to mark 3 years since we lost Matt, with plenty of entertainment and all World Cup matches shown live.

You can still get involved!
The walk is open to all, from the whole 85 miles to just a few steps. Participants can do individual days, sections, whatever suits them, or just keep us company for a while along the way.
Those who can’t make it can always join the walk virtually, at a time, place and pace to suit their own schedule.
