The Silver Hippos met Jason Leonard and the England Rugby team in Cape Town at a visit to an Atlas Foundation project. Jason established the Atlas Foundation to "raise kids out of disadvantage through the power of rugby". Ed was a big personality who lived life to the full, was loved dearly by his family and friends, and is missed hugely by all who knew him. I am one of Ed's older sisters and his wonderful friends and family continue to try new ways of raising money for the Atlas Foundation and Tanzania Rugby Development Program. My next challenge is a White Collar Boxing Match on the 24th March, something I think Ed would find absolutely hilarious and be so proud of me for. I miss him and can't wait to do this for him and the amazing work the money raised will do for TRD.

The Hippo's are proud to have been involved for many years with Atlas and the South African Rugby Legends. Our fund raising has contributed to their feeding and rugby inclusion programmes.
Rugby is a sport that brings communities together and the Atlas foundation is supporting this across 5 continents. We can support and offer disadvantaged children a environment where they can develop not only at a physical sport, but also as individuals where they can gain the confidence to survive in a supportive environment.
This is a charity that is close to heart of the minis chairman, and one which we as a Tour Committee strongly believe reflects and shares the values of Keynsham RFC.
