Barking RFC Community Fund

Barking RFC is proud to be a partner of the ATLAS Foundation. ATLAS was created by Jason Leonard in order to give strength to some of the poorest children on earth. Through our own ATLAS Barking Community Fund we can provide food, water, medicine, education, kit, boots, ball, coaching and the benefits we all feel though rugby.

This fund will be used to provide the support that children from Africa, Asia and around the globe need. The heart of the rugby family, from a tough part of London, realising that there are others worse off than us, and getting out there to help them.

In 2014 Lincoln Mali set up a rugby festival for Township schools in and around Port Elizabeth. The ambition was to establish a lasting legacy for his rugby loving father, to reinvigorate interest in local rugby, to provide support and incentives to keep young people in education and to make a beneficial connection to their communities.

Ed Cooper Memorial Fund

Ed was a big personality who lived life to the full, was loved dearly by his family and friends, and is missed hugely by all who knew him. He was a talented sportsman who enjoyed playing both codes of rugby and cricket. Following Ed’s death in 2016, this Memorial Fund was established to honour his memory.
Atlas South Africa

Atlas South Africa was founded in 2018 after a successful Atlas Trek to Botswana and Zimbabwe attended by South African Rugby Champions. Since then two successful rides in the Cape Town Cycling Tour as well as six thriving projects have made a fantastic start for Atlas South Africa.
