Nicholson Memorial Fund

The Nicholson Memorial Fund was set up by Ben Nicholson in memory of his wife, Anita, and their two children, Alex and Annabel, who tragically lost their lives in the Sri Lanka bombings on Easter Sunday in 2019. Ben works with The Atlas Foundation to memorialize his loved ones through funding Atlas's rugby-focused projects throughout Asia.

Kampuchea Balopp

Kampuchea Balopp provides access to sports and group activities to more than 600 disadvantaged and disabled children on a weekly basis. Aiming to nurture more than 1500 children by the end of the year, the project teaches healthy lifestyles, good nutrition, the importance of teamwork and respect, and more through sports activities. For Cambodia, the youth constitute more than one-third of the population, indicating the importance in preparation for their futures. By introducing and incorporating rugby into their everyday lives, it will provide them with social and academic opportunities and lasting lessons that will help develop their human qualities.

The Atlas Foundation works alongside Kampuchea Balopp by passing on 100% of the donations as well as the 25% UK gift aid that is added onto eligible donations. KB will expand its program to apply the All Schools Atlas model in Cambodia to make the program more sustainable in the long term. This will involve working with more government schools and will greatly increase the number of children under the KB program.
