Atlas South Africa at Tshwane 10s

We held a coaching session for our boys and girls with South African legends Bakkies Botha, Danie Gerber & Richard Brands! The kids got the chance to learn some skills on the famous Loftus Versfield pitch in Pretoria!

An absolutely fantastic day enjoyed by all with some great skills being learnt and a memorable experience for our kids.

Looking forward to next year already!

The Women’s Barbarians joined The Atlas Foundation at Ocean View High School for a coaching day ahead of their South African test. The Baabaas and kids shared skills, stories and an unexpected lesson in hurling from their Irish contingent. The girls at Ocean View and Masiphumelele were inspired by the Baabaas and were exhilarated to spend some time with female rugby role models.

Youth Day brings kids together in Masi

Tuesday 16th June was Youth Day in South Africa and our coaches brought a small crowd of children together in the Community Square at Masiphumelele to engage with them for a few hours and provide a small hot snack after their activities. All children and coaches adhered to social distancing and hand washing measures throughout the day's activities.
