News Brands Hatch LSEG Cyclothon 2019 The London Stock Exchange Group tested their endurance by taking to their bikes for 12 hours on the famous Brand Hatch motor racing circuit, in support of Ben Nicholson who tragically lost his wife Anita and his two children Alex and Annabel in the Sri Lanka bombings on Easter Sunday 2019. Anita was the Atlas Foundation project manager in Singapore. In their memory, LSEG raised £9,513 to help the Nicholson Memorial Fund reach the next milestone of £200,000. The money raised will be used to fund Atlas Foundation charity projects which will help improve the lives of disadvantaged children in Sri Lanka and India. These projects will provide volunteering opportunities for LSEG colleagues in Sri Lanka. We hope through our efforts to make something positive come out of this awful tragedy. Do please support us generously. Annabel and Alex Nicholson It was wonderful to see the Nicholson grandparents come down to Brands Hatch circuit to watch LSEG finish in 3rd by 1 tenth of a second after 105 laps. A fitting tribute and very proud and humbled to have such great supporters in LSEG, willing to attempt incredible challenges like this. Manage Cookie Preferences
