Buenos Aires work expands

Local Neighbourhood

It is not inevitable that coming from the poorer neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires means that kids will fail academically, fall into crime and drugs, get pregnant and struggle to find work, but the percentages don’t work in their favour.

The Atlas Foundation helps kids buck these trends by tackling the bigger issues.

Congratulations Coach Maxi on starting the Atlas All Schools programme at EP2 school in Buenos Aires this week.

Women’s Barbarians join The Atlas Foundation to inspire the next generation

The Women’s Barbarians joined The Atlas Foundation at Ocean View High School for a coaching day ahead of their South African test. The Baabaas and kids shared skills, stories and an unexpected lesson in hurling from their Irish contingent. The girls at Ocean View and Masiphumelele were inspired by the Baabaas and were exhilarated to spend some time with female rugby role models.

Richmond Heavies Foundation LONDON BRIDGES NIGHT WALK

Protecting & Supporting the Richmond Rugby Family. This is a fundraising Night Walk from Tower Bridge to Richmond Bridge, crossing every Bridge (23!) in between. A distance of 43km – a little more than a marathon.

Rugby Referees generosity

Norwich Rugby Referees have generously donated 40 playing strips to Atlas's project with the Memphis Inner City Rugby team.
Coexistence through rugby in Israel

On 12th February two Rugby World Cup winners were welcomed by the Israeli Ambassador to the UK, Mark Regev at his Residence in London.
Argentinian Christmas

He was a talented sportsman who enjoyed playing both codes of rugby and cricket. Following Ed’s death in 2016, this Memorial Fund was established to honour his memory.
