During the Covid-19 lockdowns in South Africa, the Gauteng Women’s Rugby Institute decided to use some of their Atlas funding to feed those who were hungry in their community.

Led by Jaco Coetzer, the GWRI were able to feed over 4,500 people and shared out food packages.

We are proud to have been able to support this initiative, especially during such a difficult period for so many people.

The Gauteng Women’s Rugby Institute is a pillar of its community, lifting young girls out of poverty and giving them the opportunity to play rugby and learn valuable life skills for their future.
