Happy International Women's Day!

Today is International Women’s Day, a day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. 

At Atlas, we are proud to be championing women and girls all over the world. Alongside our local partners and local communities, we are committed to advancing gender equality and inclusion.

Over the course of this week, we will be sharing stories from some inspirational young women at Gauteng Women’s Rugby Institute in South Africa. These young women have faced extreme hardship, struggle, and neglect. But, with the support and guidance of GWRI, these girls now receive safe accommodation, food, education and the opportunity to play rugby. With this platform, the girls have gained the skills and confidence to thrive.
