Launched on 20th November to celebrate Matt's life, the Matt Ratana Rugby Foundation was supported by more than 1,000 people from around the world and raised more than £100k on its first weekend.

More than 50 celebrities from rugby and television pulled on memorial shirts and spread the news across social media. These included Atlas Trustee Maro Itoje, TV presenter Davina McCall and Rugby Legend James Haskell. See #Try4Matt for more

Thank you gifts

Thank you to all our generous donors who are helping deliver Matt's legacy. Thank you especially to Akuma Sports for designing and producing memorial shirts for us to give away to donors in gratitude for their generosity. We are delighted to be sending out thank you gifts, both real and virtual shirts which we hope will be treasured, and used for further activities in his memory.

Matt's Legacy

The first projects to help young men and women in the UK and New Zealand are being established with the support of Rugby Legends in both countries. These will focus on developing and maintaining positive outcomes for young people who, beyond rugby, have substantial negative pressures in their lives. By sharing the "Whanau" the Matt so fiercely espoused, the Foundation will share his values and work for the benefit of hundreds of young people.

It's not too late to pull on a shirt too. Simply click the link below.

Postage anywhere in the world included.

Huge thanks to Akuma Sports
