The Israel co-existence program recently held a joint Tag rugby tournament for friendship, resilience and co-existence with 5 schools in Haifa.

All the pupils in year 5, girls and boys, from various religious and ethnic backgrounds took part in the tournament, and all involved showed excellent sportsmanship. 

The Co-existence program uses rugby as a bridge between communities, using the values of respect and tolerance as a way to encourage peace and reconciliation across different religious and ethnic groups. These joint sessions are crucial for the children to meet, and make friends with, kids from different cultural groups to them, promoting long lasting co-existence.
